Therapy for Women

Find Peace in Life's Chaos And Navigate Life's Demands with Confidence

Online appointments throughout California

It’s time to prioritize yourself

As women, we spend so much time putting others first. It’s easy to lose sight of our own needs.

When life becomes overwhelming and everything becomes too much, we need help exploring how to create balance and prioritize self-care.

Transforming Your Perspective for a Centered Life

Imagine a life where you manage stress easily, replace self-criticism with self-compassion, and find inner peace, confidence, and a deep, fulfilling connection with yourself and others.

With therapy, I can help you navigate your personal circumstances and emotions.

  • Make wiser, more intuitive decisions rather than emotionally driven reasoning.

  • Manage big emotions without becoming overwhelmed.

  • Get out of your own head and see situations for what they are (not what you think they are).

  • Slow down and carve out time to prioritize your well-being.

Hi, I’m Karlie

I work with people all over California. I love empowering women on their journeys toward personal growth and peace.

Understanding the unique pressures and challenges faced by women today, from balancing careers and family to navigating personal crises, I offer a safe space for healing and discovery.

If women are supported, well-resourced, and have boundaries and self-care, they can navigate life’s challenges and feel good about their choices.

As a therapist specializing in therapy for women, my approach integrates the principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)  with a focus on building a positive relationship with yourself.

We have the power to choose healthy relationships.

Our most significant growth occurs in our relationships with others, as these interactions challenge us and encourage personal development.

By exploring your relationships and the impact others have on your life, we’ll rediscover your sense of Self.

And regain connectedness, curiosity, creativity and calm.

Any questions about therapy for women?

  • I accept Venmo, PayPal, and bank transfers as forms of payment. Payment is expected at the time that services are provided.

My fee is $200 per therapeutic hour (50 minutes.) For longer sessions, my fees are prorated accordingly.

Phone, text, and email communication between sessions are prorated accordingly.

I offer a limited number of sliding-scale appointments for people who would otherwise be unable to engage in therapy at my regular fee. Please contact me if you would like more information.

  • I don’t accept payments from health insurance providers.

Your health insurance plan may provide an “out-of-network provider” benefit, allowing you to receive reimbursement for the services I provide at the rate your insurance pays. You will receive a monthly invoice, which you can submit to your health insurance company for reimbursement.

  • Sessions are typically 50 minutes. However, depending on your needs, I offer longer session lengths, which we can discuss when scheduling your initial appointment.

  • At this time, all my appointments are online using a secure, HIPPA-compliant platform to ensure confidentiality. This makes it easy for you to attend appointments without having to worry about parking or getting stuck in traffic.

I see clients on weekdays between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

  • Initially, our appointments will be every week. As you start to make progress, your appointments will be every two weeks to once a month. The duration of therapy can vary widely depending on your needs, the nature of the issues being addressed, and the goals of therapy. Some clients may find short-term therapy (e.g., 6-12 sessions) beneficial for specific issues, while others may engage in longer-term therapy to explore deeper emotional patterns or ongoing support. We can discuss this further during your initial session.

  • Our first meeting is an opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy, your hopes and goals, any concerns, and a time to answer your questions about my approach. I encourage you to share on a level that feels comfortable for you. Therapy is an inherently vulnerable process; as trust is built, you will feel more comfortable. Finding the right therapist is one of the most crucial elements of therapy. During the first several sessions, you and I will both be evaluating our “fit” and our ability to engage in meaningful and productive work together.

  • Please provide 24 hours notice of cancellation for any appointment you cannot keep or wish to reschedule. The full session fee will be charged for no-shows, cancellations, or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice.
