How We Work Together

Experience a Stronger Relationship with Yourself and Others for a More Fulfilling Life

Online appointments throughout California

It’s time to prioritize yourself

I get it - we all face incredible challenges, and we all need support at times

Many of my clients tell me that receiving ongoing support from someone who is objective, nonjudgmental, down to earth, and genuinely cares for their well-being can significantly impact their lives.

Talking things out in a safe place with someone they trust can be transformative.

I believe the connection between the therapist and the client is THE most important part of my work. I want my clients to feel my warmth, compassion and desire to help them uncover the best solutions to their challenges.

My role is to help you identify your strengths and challenges. I view my role as a guide rather than a teacher, helping and encouraging you to talk out loud about your thoughts, feelings, memories, and perspectives.

So you can look forward to meeting with me and leave your sessions feeling more connected to yourself and more trusting of your intuition.

Relationships are one of the most important factors that influence us

Relationship with ourselves

Many problems we experience with mental health and well-being come from our relationship with ourselves - our confidence (or lack of it), self-esteem, and past trauma we’ve lived through.

Relationships with others

We don’t need to compromise when we're alone—we can just be ourselves. But when we’re with others, we learn and grow in relation to them because we’re challenged. Looking at who’s in our lives and what they bring out in us can help us understand why we are the way we are.

In my practice…

I blend two powerful approaches, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to empower healing and growth for my clients.

Imagine your mind as a community of different "parts," each with its own perspective and feelings.

As an IFS-informed therapist, I help you get to know these parts, understand their intentions, and heal any pain you carry. Meanwhile, DBT strategies equip you with practical skills to manage intense emotions, navigate interpersonal relationships, and embrace life's ups and downs with a balanced mindset.

Together, these approaches help you build a compassionate relationship with yourself and enjoy emotional resilience and meaningful connections.

I believe…

Most of life falls into a grey area despite our tendency to categorize things into black and white, right and wrong, or good and bad. Understanding this can help us let go of perfectionism and accept ourselves and our circumstances for what they are.

Acceptance helps us move past hurt and choose to create a life we want and deserve.

I often work with people who are looking for a therapist who can help them with:

  • Stress

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Social isolation

  • Relationship problems

  • Trauma

  • Parenting support
